Student Community Service

Letter of Interest

Describe your plans for the future and why you feel black women are influential to our society using one of the options below. Option 1: In the space below, write your 250-300 word essay Option 2: Record a two minute video. Upload video to your YouTube account. Paste the YouTube Video URL you recorded for our scholarship in the space below. Make sure your YouTube Video for our scholarship is set as private so only those you share the video URL with can watch.

Submission of Additional Documents

Please note additional documentation will be required from top candidates after the initial application review. Selected candidates will be contacted and asked to provide proof of the following by email: Official Transcript of Grades to verify GPA College Acceptance Letter Community Service Verification signed by an agency representative Two Letters of Recommendation One letter must be written by school personnel One letter must come from a member of the community (non-family member) Candidates will receive specific instructions and a deadline for submitting these documents via email to scholarships@ncbwdallas.org.
