president’s welcome

Welcome, and thank you for visiting the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., Dallas Metropolitan Chapter’s website.

I’m Dr. Catrina, and it is my honor to serve as President of a chapter rooted in purpose, powered by sisterhood, and committed to advocacy that produces real outcomes. Since our chapter was established in 2018, we have remained steadfast in our mission to advocate for Black women and girls through focused work in health, education, economic empowerment, and public policy/civic engagement.

As an advocacy organization, we do more than host events; we address the conditions that shape daily life in our communities. We elevate issues that impact Black women and girls, including access to quality healthcare, safe communities, educational opportunity, economic mobility, and policies that influence equity and justice. We believe that when our voices are organized, informed, and consistent, we can shift systems rather than just respond to them.

Our chapter advances this mission through programs and initiatives that develop leaders and create pathways to success. From mentorship and youth development to community education and resource-driven workshops, we are committed to empowering women and girls with the tools to thrive. Economic empowerment is a core priority supporting entrepreneurship, career readiness, and financial education because stability and opportunity are essential to long-term transformation.

We also understand that impact grows through collaboration. We actively cultivate strategic partnerships with civic leaders, school districts, nonprofit organizations, corporate partners, and community stakeholders who share a commitment to equity and community advancement. These relationships help us expand resources, strengthen our programming, and increase the reach of our advocacy efforts across the Dallas region.

Whether you are a member, supporter, partner, or first-time visitor, you are welcome here. We invite you to connect with us, attend a program, collaborate as a partner, or support our scholarship and advocacy initiatives. Together, we are building a stronger community where Black women are supported, Black girls are protected, and our collective future is brighter.

With purpose and in service,

Dr. Catrina
