Metamorphosis Mentoring Program was developed to empower young Black girls ages 13-17 in the Dallas Metropolitan Area* and support their personal development as they prepare for adulthood.
Our mission is to establish a legacy that inspires young Black girls to recognize and embrace their beauty, rarity, and strength while equipping them with skills to guide their futures.
Through an interactive curriculum, mentees explore vision and goal setting, healthy relationships, financial literacy, professional presence and etiquette, and opportunities in S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math). Each session combines discussion, hands-on activities, and real-world applications that give participants the tools to thrive.
The program culminates in the Pearl Ceremony, where graduates are honored with a strand of pearls and charged to continue their journey of personal development and transformation. Pearls symbolize wisdom, resilience, and strength — qualities that mirror the journey of our mentees. Just as a pearl is formed through time and pressure, each graduate is reminded of her own ability to shine brightly and rise above challenges.
