Thank you for your interest in our organization. The Dallas Metropolitan Chapter, of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. is a dynamic group who are committed to the empowerment of Women and Girls in our respective communities.
We are looking for women who have demonstrated experience working to improve their communities, who need to feel that what they do has real purpose and makes a difference!
Any professional woman, who is in accord with the principles, policies and objectives of the Dallas Metropolitan Chapter of NCBW and agrees to adhere to the same may apply to become member of the chapter.
Membership requires the approval of the Board of Directors and a majority vote of all members in good standing along with paying the applicable annual chapter dues and assessments.
TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP
Regular Members participate fully in the projects and functions of the Chapter by serving on a minimum of two (2) committees and attending no less than seven (7) requisite general membership meetings annually.
Regular Members in good standing shall have the full right to vote in the affairs of the Chapter and otherwise enjoy the benefits of membership. (Dues $360)
Associate Members shall support the objectives, policies, and procedures of the Chapter, but will not be required to attend regular membership meetings or participate in committee activities. An Associate Member shall participate in at least (2) two Chapter programs.An Associate Member shall pay annual dues with no assessments.
Associate Members in good standing shall enjoy the benefits of membership but may not vote in the affairs of the Chapter. A member must be an active member and in Good Standing at the Regular Membership level before she can transition to Associate Membership level. (Dues $500)
Honorary Members shall make an annual financial contribution of $1000 or more to the Chapter. Honorary Members shall participate on committees and attend meetings as their time permits.
Honorary Members in good standing shall enjoy the benefits of membership but may not vote in the affairs of the Chapter.
Membership Eligibility Criteria
Live in or work in the Dallas Area;
Demonstrate actual or potential leadership ability;
Reflect in their occupational and/or leadership endeavors, the key sectors of the community;
Demonstrate available resources—time, constituencies, money, contacts, track record, and expertise—for NCBW Chapter programs; and
Have a good reputation, with dependable, effective community Service
